We have opened our home to our canine friends at Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. With the help of my wife and daughters, we are fostering dogs. It’s a great experience and we enjoy the extra littles. We make sure that whoever crosses our doorstep experiences the love and affection each dog deserves. Below are some of our dogs and rescuers who have crossed over that threshold. Feel free to look them up on the link below.
Little Paws Dachshund Rescue is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dachshunds and dachshund mixes. They are based in Oklahoma but have volunteers and foster homes throughout the United States. Little Paws Dachshund Rescue was founded in 2005 and has since rescued and placed over 4,000 dachshunds into loving forever homes.
The organization's mission is to rescue dachshunds who have been abandoned, surrendered, or are at risk of euthanasia. They provide medical care, spay/neuter services, and behavioral training to ensure that each dachshund is healthy and ready for adoption. Little Paws Dachshund Rescue also educates the public about the breed, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of adopting from a rescue instead of buying from a breeder.
Little Paws Dachshund Rescue relies on donations and volunteers to continue their important work. They have various fundraising events throughout the year, such as auctions, raffles, and donation drives. Volunteers can help by fostering a dachshund, transporting dogs to and from vet appointments or adoption events, and assisting with administrative tasks. If you are interested in adopting a dachshund, volunteering, or donating, you can visit their website for more information.
